Golf tournement Altea la vella
ENG: on May 14, our club organized the annual golf tournament in Altea la Vella in collaboration with Remax, followed by food, again a great success, with the proceeds going to doble amor.
NL: op 14 mei organiseerde onze club in samenwerking met Remax het jaarlijkse golftoernooi in Altea la Vella aansluitend met eten, opnieuw een groot succes, en de opbrengst hiervan gaat naar doble amor.
ESP: El 14 de mayo, nuestro club organizó el torneo anual de golf en Altea la Vella en colaboración con Remax, seguido de comida, de nuevo un gran éxito, y la recaudación se destinó a doble amor.
Golf tournement Albir
ENG: on March 5, our club organized the annual golf tournament in Albir followed by food, again a great success, with the proceeds going to doble amor.
NL: op 5 maart organiseerde onze club het jaarlijkse golftoernooi in Albir aansluitend met eten, opnieuw een groot succes, en de opbrengst hiervan gaat naar doble amor.
ESP: El 5 de marzo, nuestro club organizó el torneo anual de golf en Albir seguido de comida, nuevamente un gran éxito, y las ganancias se destinaron a doble amor.
Flamenco show
ENG: On November 19, our club organized the annual flameno show, we received 335 guests and the proceeds of this evening were divided among our social works.
NL: Op 19 november organiseerde onze club de jaarlijkse flameno show, we mochten 335 gasten ontvangen en de opbrengst van deze avond werd verdeeld onder onze sociale werken.
ESP: El 19 de noviembre nuestro club organizó el espectáculo flamenco anual, recibimos a 335 invitados y la recaudación de esta velada se repartió entre nuestras obras sociales.
Sint Nicolaas
ENG: On December 2nd and December 6th, St Nicholas brought goodies for the children in Alfaz and also in Alicante. The children were again very happy with the arrival of the good saint.
NL: Op 2 December en op 6 December bracht st Nicolaas weer lekkers voor de kinderen in Alfaz en ook in Alicante, De kinderen waren weer zeer blij met de komst van de goede sint.
ESP: Los días 2 y 6 de diciembre San Nicolás trajo golosinas para los niños de Alfaz y también de Alicante, los niños volvieron a estar muy contentos con la llegada del buen santo.
Eyeglasses for Gambia
Last april we have send 3500 eyeglasses to Gambia, and this in collaboration with the Leo's from Banjul. This fantastic club will provide the eyeglasses to people in their community, who cannot afford to buy eyeglasses.
foodbank
Helping our local foodbank is one of our main activities, almost every month we spend 500 euro to help them with the food they need the most.
Flamenco
Every year we are proud that we can organise this great flamenco show in our Casa de cultura in Alfaz del pi. This fantastic group, lead by Juan Carlos Avecilla are one of the best Flamenco groups, not to be missed, so keep an eye out on this website or on our facebook page lionsclubalfazdelpi.
Dia international Alfaz del Pi
Every year the town hall organises their Dia Interntional. On this day the whole International community of Alfaz del pi comes together and the several social groups for a fun day, with lot's of music, dance and food.
Cambio de melenas or change of board celebrations
Every year there are elections for the new board members, after the election all the Lions clubs organise a dinner with the oficial change of board members. As Lions club we also have strong connections with our fellow clubs, and are always happy to be invited to attend this happening.

Reading Glasses for Roemenia
In collaboration with the Rotary club Rupel-Boom and Rotary club Balie Felix we have send 8500 reading glasses to roemania.
We are very glad that we have contact with both rotary clubs and provide again more Service to help the people in the comunity.
