The Lions is the biggest service organisation in the world with 1.4 million members spread over 200 countries . Our device : ´We Serve´ . The two most important campaigns are :
Sight First, with the focus on beating blindness by
The organisation of eye camps (cataract operations etc.)
Prevention of River blindness
Foundation of schools for guide-dogs and institutes for the blind
Providing projects in S-America and Africa with second-hand spectacles
The lions club international foundation (LCIF), un organisation always prepared to help by catastrophes on any place on earth.
The lions club Alfaz del Pi Marina Baxia was founded in 1983, the members are international and the language is English. The regular meetings are once a month (except during the summer)
The annual activities are:
In April the golf tournament
In November the Flamenco show
In December the entry of San Nicolas en Alfaz del Pi
With the profits we make, we are helping social projects (foodbank, homes for children...)
All year round the club , together with other Lions clubs , is responsible and working for the Spanish ´Centro de Reciclaje de Gafas´ with is situated in San Vicente de Raspeig.

La organización de campamentos oculares (operaciones de cataratas, etc.)
Prevención de la ceguera de los ríos
Fundación de escuelas para perros guía e institutos para ciegos
Proporcionar proyectos en Sudamérica y África con gafas de segunda mano
La fundación internacional del club de leones (LCIF), una organización siempre preparada para ayudar por catástrofes en cualquier lugar del mundo.
El club de leones Alfaz del Pi Marina Baxia fue fundado en 1983, los miembros son internacionales y el idioma es el inglés. Las reuniones regulares son una vez al mes (excepto durante el verano)
Las actividades anuales son:
En abril, el torneo de golf
En noviembre, el espectáculo flamenco
En diciembre la entrada de San Nicolás en Alfaz del Pi
Con las ganancias que hacemos, estamos ayudando a proyectos sociales (banco de alimentos, hogares para niños ...)
Durante todo el año, el club, junto con otros clubes de Leones, es responsable y trabaja para el'Centro de Reciclaje de Gafas' con sede en San Vicente de Raspeig.

Sikt Først, med fokus på å slå blindhet ved
Organiseringen av øye leirer (katarakt operasjoner etc.)
Forebygging av flodblindhet
Stiftelse av skoler for guide-hunder og institutter for blinde
Gir prosjekter i S-Amerika og Afrika med bruktbriller
Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF), en organisasjon som alltid er villig til å hjelpe med katastrofer på ethvert sted på jorden.
Lions klubben Alfaz del Pi Marina Baxia ble grunnlagt i 1983, medlemmene er internasjonale og språket er engelsk. De faste møtene er en gang i måneden (unntatt om sommeren)
De årlige aktivitetene er:

Med fortjenesten vi gjør, hjelper vi sosiale prosjekter (matbank, hus for barn ...)
Hele året er klubben, sammen med  andre Lions-klubber, ansvarlig og arbeider for den spanske "Centro de Reciclaje de Gafas" med beliggenhet i San Vicente de Raspeig.
